Carlson
Hospitality Chooses DSTAT Software for Most Recent Acquisitions
|
|
|
April 1, 2005 - Carlson Hotels Worldwide announced an agreement to
acquire 12 Prime Hotels from HTP, and reflag them as Radisson, Country Inn
& Suites, and Park Plaza brands. CIA is proud to announce that in addition
to providing Budget and Forecast software to the newly acquired properties,
Carlson has also chosen to use CIA's DSTAT software for producing daily
reporting and journal entries. As part of the agreement, CIA is interfacing
DSTAT to both the Opera PMS and Carlson's accounting system. The software,
which was deployed in early May, 2005, will automatically read in data exported
from the PMS, provide a variety of daily trending reports at the property,
produce a series of corporate level reports available on line, and
automatically load data from the audit journal into the Carlson Accounting
System. In addition to the hotels obtained in the HTP transaction, Carlson has
also installed DSTAT at the recently opened Country Inn and Suites New Orleans.

CIA and FelCor
take the next step in automating Preventative Maintenance and Asset Management
|
|
|
CIA is proud to announce that FelCor Lodging Trust will be the first to use
their new Asset Management and Replacement software. This web-based application
(implemented with Microsoft.NET Technology) is tied directly to CIA's
Preventative Maintenance software, which runs at more than 150 of FelCor's
hotels. This new technology receives periodic updates automatically from the PM
software running at the hotels. The web base portion of the program then allows
FelCor Engineering and Asset Management Personnel to monitor the maintenance of
their facilities from anywhere. Additional functionality allows Felcor
Engineering personnel to schedule on going asset replacement, removing and
adding pieces of equipment (and other types of assets) from the web site.
Additional corporate level functionality includes the ability to add company
wide tasks to the maintenance requirements for any equipment or asset listed in
the PM software, as well as future development aimed at providing on line,
integrated, capital planning.

CAST Installed at Hilton Tucson East
February 27, 2002 - CIA's CAST Sales Automation Solution is installed at
the Hilton Tucson East. This marks the first installation of CAST under CIA's
new "subscription" based pricing plan. Under this plan, the hotel pays a small
annual fee to use CAST rather than paying the full license cost up front.
Additional charges for installation, training and annual support are optional.
In this case, the DOS trained her own staff and saved the cost of on site
training. Marci Rogers said "I've used CAST at my previous hotel and found it
so easy to learn that I decided to do my own training."
